Greek Polls

New Democracy is a liberal-conservative political party in Greece. In contemporary Greek politics, New Democracy has been the main centre-right to right wing political party and one of the two major parties.

New Democracy, after two months of downward trends in voting intention rates as well as in adjusted rates, is showing an increase in almost all April polls. This increase brings the average of the polls after the reduction (vote estimation) of New Democracy to 27.72% and results in it continuing to record lower rates than the 2023 elections by -12.84% as well as -0.59% close to the 2024 European elections.

The Panhellenic Socialist Movement, known mostly by its acronym PASOK, is a social-democratic political party in Greece. Until 2012 it was one of the two major parties in the country. After a decade of poor electoral outcomes, PASOK has retained its position as one of the main Greek political parties and is currently the second largest party in the Greek Parliament.

PASOK has been on a downward trend for the fifth month in the April 2025 opinion polls, but at a slower rate than in previous months. The continued downward trend has resulted in PASOK losing almost all of the gains it had since August 2024 and approaching the 2024 European elections percentages with an average percentage of 12.98% after a reduction that is marginally +0.19% above the European elections percentage and +1.14% above the 2023 national elections.

The Greek Solution is a political party in Greece founded by Kyriakos Velopoulos. The party is right-wing to far-right and has been described as ideologically ultranationalist, national conservative.

The Greek Solution shows stabilization in the percentages of February & March 2025. After the April polls, the Greek Solution seems to be stabilizing ahead of the KKE in fourth place. Despite the small drop, it maintains one of the highest percentages it has recorded at 10.23%, which is higher by +0.93% than the percentages of the European elections and higher by +5.79% than the percentages of the 2023 parliamentary elections.

The Communist Party of Greece is a Marxist–Leninist political party in Greece. It was founded in 1918 as the Socialist Workers’ Party of Greece (SEKE) and adopted its current name in November 1924. It is the oldest political party in modern Greek politics.

Communist Party of Greece in March 2025 shows a slight decline for the second month and returns to the percentages it showed in the summer of 2024. The downward trends combined with the upward trends of other parties stabilizes the KKE in 5th place. The Communist Party is estimated in the surveys after reduction (vote estimation) at 8.10%, down by -1.15% from the percentage of the 2024 European elections and slightly up by +0.41% from the 2023 parliamentary elections.

Course of Freedom is a Greek left-wing political party founded in 2016 by the former President of the Hellenic Parliament, Zoe Konstantopoulou.

For the third consecutive month, Course of Freedom is showing one of the largest upward trends recorded in opinion polls of all parties for several years. In April 2025, the upward trend decreased compared to the previous month. This continued rise stabilizes Course of Freedom in second place and PASOK in third place. We calculate the average of Course of Freedom polls in voting intention rates at 12.66% and after reduction (vote estimation) to 15.22% almost five times the percentage from the European elections by +11.82% and +12.05% from the parliamentary elections.

The Coalition of the Radical Left – Progressive Alliance, best known by the syllabic abbreviation SYRIZA, is a centre-left to left-wing political party in Greece. It was founded in 2004 as a political coalition of left-wing and radical left parties, and registered as a political party in 2012.

SYRIZA, after stabilizing for three months, is experiencing a second month of decline in its percentages, which tend to bring it to the lowest levels since the 2023 elections. In the polls after processing (vote estimation), it has a decline compared to March and we calculate the average at 6.73%, which is considerably lower -8.19% than its percentage in the European elections and -11.10% in the parliamentary elections.

The Voice of Reason is a far-right ultranationalist political party in Greece. It was established in 2023 by Afroditi Latinopoulou, a lawyer and a Member of the European Parliamen.

PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS 2023: 0.43% 0 SEATS

EURO ELECTIONS 2024: 3.04% 1 SEAT

The Voice of Reason has lost almost all of the previous six months of increase in voting intention rates and in the percentages after reduction in the last three months. Despite the large drop, the Voice of Reason is estimated at 3.50% in the opinion polls after reduction, up +0.46% from the European elections and +3.07% compared to the 2023 parliamentary elections.

The Movement of Democracy is a political party in Greece, founded on November 23, 2024 by Stefanos Kasselakis. It places itself in the area of ​​the “modern center-left” and progressivism.

CURRENT STRENGTH: 5 Parliamentary Seats (9th party)

The Movement of Democracy, after six months of presence in the polls, shows for the first time in April 2025 a dynamic rise. The Movement of Democracy is moving at percentages marginally below the electoral threshold of 3%.

The Democratic Patriotic Movement – Victory “NIKI” often shortened to simply Niki (Victory), is a right, far-right political party in Greece. It was founded by educator Dimitris Natsios in 2019.

CURRENT STRENGTH: 9 Parliamentary Seats (7th party)

NIKI in April 2025 cannot maintain the gains of the previous month, but remains above the 3% electoral threshold at 3.30% in the polls after reduction but without reaching its electoral percentages. Thus, the Average of the polls after processing (vote estimation) finds it lower by -1.07% than the percentage of the European elections and lower by -0.40% than the percentage of the national elections.

The European Realistic Disobedience Front, or MeRA25 (Greek: ΜέΡΑ25), is a left-wing Greek political party founded in 2018. Its founder and General Secretary is former Syriza MP and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.

MeRA25 has been on a slight upward trend for about three months now, bringing the party closer to an electable position. It has thus risen to the marginal 3.13% in the polls after rising slightly above the European elections by +0.59% and above the national elections by +0.63%

The New Left is a centre-left to left-wing democratic socialist political party in the Hellenic Parliament. It was founded on 4 December 2023 by eleven independent MPs who left the Syriza party. The president of the parliamentary group is Alexis Haritsis.

The New Left has made a small recovery but continues to be counted near its lowest percentages historically. In the polls after the reduction, the New Left reaches 2.03%, lower by -0.42% than the percentages of the 2024 European elections.
