February 2026, start of the war in Iran.
In February 2026, all eyes were on the international scene and the start of the war in Iran. This event, combined with the few days in the month, contributed to having fewer polls than in other months. Six polls were presented by five companies with voting intention. The four companies proceeded to process – reduce the five polls. As usual, Interview proceeded to 2 polls and ALCO presented only the reduction.
We record the polls for the period of February 2026 with the footnote that the data and analysis have less weight compared to the other periods because they concern fewer polls from fewer companies. Some of the largest polling companies with regular monthly updates such as MRB (Open tv), Opinion poll (Action 24) and Pulse RC (SKAI) did not present surveys.
With these data and based on the percentage of change we have a small increase for New Democracy, a small increase (or stabilization) for PASOK and Democrats PK (formerly Democracy Movement), a small decrease (or stabilization) for Pleusi Eleftherias, Hellenic Solution and Voice of Reason. We observe an increase for SYRIZA PS, MeRA25 and KKE and a decrease for NIKI and New Left.
Although this month is characterized by stagnation in the percentages of the parties we had a reordering with Democrats Progressive Center (formerly Democracy Movement) surpassing NIKI in positions nine and ten. This is mainly due to the decline of NIKI rather than any significant rise of the Democrats PK Both parties are estimated at percentages that bring them out of parliament.
There was no change in the supposed composition of the parliament (based on the average of opinion polls after reduction) with eight parties exceeding 3% while the possibility of forming an independent government is not possible with the probability of electing 126 New Democracy MPs remaining stable for several months.New Democracy News

New Democracy is a liberal-conservative political party in Greece. In contemporary Greek politics, New Democracy has been the main centre-right to right wing political party and one of the two major parties.

New Democracy LATEST POLLS
The upward trends of New Democracy continue in February 2026. This rise brings the average of the polls after the reduction of New Democracy to 30.28%, which is the highest performance of New Democracy since the 2024 European elections by +1.97 percendance units (pu) and lower percentages since the 2023 elections by -10.28 percendance units (pu).

The Panhellenic Socialist Movement, known mostly by its acronym PASOK, is a social-democratic political party in Greece. Until 2012 it was one of the two major parties in the country. After a decade of poor electoral outcomes, PASOK has retained its position as one of the main Greek political parties and is currently the second largest party in the Greek Parliament.

PASOK LATEST POLLS
A small increase (or stabilization) halts the downward trends that PASOK has shown in the previous two months. However, it remains below 11% in the voting intention percentage that it maintained almost throughout 2025. PASOK continues to maintain second place but increases the difference from New Democracy to 17.2 points. With an average of 13.08% in the percentage after reduction, it is +0.29 percendance units (pu) above the percentage of the European elections and +1.24 percendance units (pu) above the 2023 national elections.

Course of Freedom is a Greek left-wing political party founded in 2016 by the former President of the Hellenic Parliament, Zoe Konstantopoulou.

Course of Freedom LATEST POLLS
We also have a small drop (or stabilization) in the percentages of Course of Freedom in February 2026. It maintains third place from Greek Solution, which does not have the potential to surpass it with the data of February 2026. We calculate the average of the Course of Freedom polls in the percentages of voting intention at 8.32% and after reduction to 10.80% higher than the European elections by +7.40 percendance units (pu) and +7.63 percendance units (pu) than the parliamentary elections.

The Greek Solution is a political party in Greece founded by Kyriakos Velopoulos. The party is right-wing to far-right and has been described as ideologically ultranationalist, national conservative.

Greek Solution LATEST POLLS
The Greek Solution shows downward trends for a second month (mainly in the reduction) in February 2026. It maintains fourth place at a safe distance from the KKE and does not seem to have the potential to surpass the Course of Freedom. The new small drop leads the Greek Solution to record 9.66% after reduction which is higher by +0.36 pu than the percentages of the European elections and higher by +5.22 pu than the percentages of the 2023 parliamentary elections.

The Communist Party of Greece is a Marxist–Leninist political party in Greece. It was founded in 1918 as the Socialist Workers’ Party of Greece (SEKE) and adopted its current name in November 1924. It is the oldest political party in modern Greek politics.

The small increase brings the Communist Party of Greece back to the percentages of the last six months. The Communist Party of Greece continues to be in 5th place in the voting intention polls. It has an average in the surveys after reduction to 8.26%, down by -0.99 pu from the percentage of the 2024 European elections and slightly up by +0.57 pu from the parliamentary elections of 2023.

The Coalition of the Radical Left – Progressive Alliance, best known by the syllabic abbreviation SYRIZA, is a centre-left to left-wing political party in Greece. It was founded in 2004 as a political coalition of left-wing and radical left parties, and registered as a political party in 2012.

SYRIZA PS shows a small increase for February 2026, but it is not enough to return to acceptable percentages. In the polls after processing (reduction), we calculate the average of 5.38%, which is considerably lower -9.54 pu than its percentage in the European elections and –12.45 pu in the parliamentary elections.

The Voice of Reason is a far-right ultranationalist political party in Greece. It was established in 2023 by Afroditi Latinopoulou, a lawyer and a Member of the European Parliamen.

Voice of Reason LATEST POLLS
The Voice of Reason shows a small increase (or stabilization) in its percentages, increasing its percentages for January 2026. With the latest data, the Voice of Reason does not have the potential to surpass SYRIZA PS in the ranking and does not seem to be in danger from MeRA25 despite their small difference. It continues to appear in electable percentages at 3.88% in the polls after reduction, up by +0.84 pu from the European elections and +3.45 pu compared to the 2023 parliamentary elections.

The European Realistic Disobedience Front, or MeRA25 (Greek: ΜέΡΑ25), is a left-wing Greek political party founded in 2018. Its founder and General Secretary is former Syriza MP and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.

Rise for MeRA25 in February 2026, which reduces its gap from the Voice of Reason and appears to be stabilizing in an electable position at 3.54% in the polls after increasing above the European elections by +1.00 pu and above the national elections by +1.04 pu.

The Democrats Progressive Center (formerly Movement of Democracy) is a political party in Greece, founded on November 23, 2024 by Stefanos Kasselakis. It places itself in the area of the “modern center-left” and progressivism.

The small rise for the Democrats Progressive Center (formerly Movement of Democracy) interrupts the downward trends of the last three months. It continues to fall short of an electable position with an average percentage after processing (reduction) of 2.06%.

The Democratic Patriotic Movement – Victory “NIKI” often shortened to simply Niki (Victory), is a right, far-right political party in Greece. It was founded by educator Dimitris Natsios in 2019.

NIKH LATEST POLLS
NIKI in February 2026, intensifies the downward trends of the last two months and this has resulted in losing ninth place to the Democrats PK. It appears well below the electoral threshold of 3% at 1.70% in the polls after reduction, the lowest percentage recorded to date. Thus, the M.O. of the polls after processing (reduction) finds it lower by -2.67 pu than the percentage of the European elections and lower by -2 pu than the percentage of the national elections.

The New Left is a centre-left to left-wing democratic socialist political party in the Hellenic Parliament. It was founded on 4 December 2023 by eleven independent MPs who left the Syriza party. The president of the parliamentary group is Alexis Haritsis.

And the New Left in February 2026 recorded the lowest percentages it had since its founding. It is measured close to the statistical error. In the polls after reduction, the New Left is at 1.58%, -0.87 pu lower than the percentages of the 2024 European elections.
