Analysis of polls for October 2025
October 2025 is very close to the September percentages, with most parties having small differences. Even the parties that had trends of change in their percentages, such as Course of Freedom (decline) and Voice of Reason, MeRA25 (increase), smoothed out these trends without eliminating them. The only party that shows a strong change with a drop in its percentages is SYRIZA, which is logically due to the resignation of former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
In October 2025, we did not have any changes in the ranking of the parties. However, in the coming months we are following with interest:
- The battle for fourth place between Course of Freedom and the KKE, which will be judged more by whether Course of Freedom’ decline will continue than by a possible increase in the percentages of the KKE, which has been stable for quite some time.
- The possibility that the Voice of Reason will surpass SYRIZA, which we assume based on the decline in SYRIZA’s percentages in the last 7 months and the upward trends that the Voice of Reason has again. For this change to occur, both trends must continue and become more intense.
We also had no change in the supposed composition of the parliament, with eight parties exceeding 3%. The eight parties appear to be stable in parliament after the entry of MeRA25 for the fourth month. We are monitoring the marginal entry or not of the Democracy Movement, which will form a parliament of nine parties. With the data so far, it is not easy to have more than nine parties because NIKI and especially the New Left do not have the potential to exceed 3%.

New Democracy is a liberal-conservative political party in Greece. In contemporary Greek politics, New Democracy has been the main centre-right to right wing political party and one of the two major parties.

New Democracy LATEST POLLS
New Democracy remains stable in October 2025 at the previous month’s percentages. This stagnation brings the average of the polls after the reduction of New Democracy to 28.99%, slightly higher percentages than the 2024 European elections by +0.68% and lower percentages than the 2023 elections by -11.57%.
OCTOBER 2025
The Panhellenic Socialist Movement, known mostly by its acronym PASOK, is a social-democratic political party in Greece. Until 2012 it was one of the two major parties in the country. After a decade of poor electoral outcomes, PASOK has retained its position as one of the main Greek political parties and is currently the second largest party in the Greek Parliament.

PASOK LATEST POLLS
Stable with a marginal decline for PASOK in October 2025. PASOK continues to clearly maintain second place with an average of 13.71% after a reduction that is +0.92% above the percentage of the European elections and +1.87% above the 2023 national elections.

The Greek Solution is a political party in Greece founded by Kyriakos Velopoulos. The party is right-wing to far-right and has been described as ideologically ultranationalist, national conservative.

Greek Solution LATEST POLLS
The Greek Solution has corrective trends in October 2025 but seems to be stabilizing above 10%. The small drop leads the Greek Solution to record 10.31% after a reduction that is higher by +1.01% than the percentages of the European elections and higher by +5.87% than the percentages of the 2023 parliamentary elections.

The Communist Party of Greece is a Marxist–Leninist political party in Greece. It was founded in 1918 as the Socialist Workers’ Party of Greece (SEKE) and adopted its current name in November 1924. It is the oldest political party in modern Greek politics.

KKE LATEST POLLS
The most stable party could not move differently in October 2025, when the Communist Party of Greece has been showing almost the same percentages for five months. Despite the low percentages, the stability of the Communist Party of Greece keeps it in 5th place with a prospect for 4th place if the decline of the Freedom Voyage continues. The Communist Party of Greece has an average in the surveys after a reduction to 8.49%, down by -0.76% from the percentage of the 2024 European elections and slightly up by +0.80% from the parliamentary elections of 2023.

Course of Freedom is a Greek left-wing political party founded in 2016 by the former President of the Hellenic Parliament, Zoe Konstantopoulou.

Course of Freedom LATEST POLLS
Although Course of Freedom continues its downward trend for the fifth month, in October it significantly reduces the rate of decline. Despite the decline, Course of Freedom continues to be ranked in fourth place ahead of the KKE. We calculate the MO of the Course of Freedom polls in the percentage of voting intention at 7.48% and after reduction to 9.54% higher than the European elections by +6.14% and +6.37% than the parliamentary elections.

The Coalition of the Radical Left – Progressive Alliance, best known by the syllabic abbreviation SYRIZA, is a centre-left to left-wing political party in Greece. It was founded in 2004 as a political coalition of left-wing and radical left parties, and registered as a political party in 2012.

SYRIZA LATEST POLLS
A new significant drop for SYRIZA PS in October 2025 after a small trend towards stabilization that was not maintained. In the polls after processing (reduction), it has the lowest percentage we have recorded to date and we estimate it at an average of 5.34%, which is considerably lower -9.58% than its percentage in the European elections and -12.49% in the parliamentary elections.

The Voice of Reason is a far-right ultranationalist political party in Greece. It was established in 2023 by Afroditi Latinopoulou, a lawyer and a Member of the European Parliamen.

Voice of Reason LATEST POLLS
The rise for The Voice of Reason continues in September 2025, resulting in it rising above the percentages it had in the summer of 2024. This rise stabilizes the Voice of Reason in electable percentages at 4.21% in the polls after reduction, up by +1.17% from the European elections and +3.78% compared to the 2023 parliamentary elections.

The Democracy Movement is a political party in Greece, founded on November 23, 2024 by Stefanos Kasselakis. It places itself in the area of the “modern center-left” and progressivism.

The Movement of Democracy has a downward trend for September 2025 and seems to be losing all the growth of the last months. With this decline, the Movement of Democracy seems to be losing its electable position with an average percentage after processing (reduction) of 2.66%.

The Democratic Patriotic Popular Movement “Niki” often shortened to simply Niki (Victory), is a right, far-right political party in Greece. It was founded by educator Dimitris Natsios in 2019.

NIKH LATEST POLLS
NIKI in October 2025, continues to have the low percentages of the last three months. It appears below the electoral threshold of 3% at 2.34% in the polls after reduction. Thus, the M.O. of the polls after processing (reduction) finds it lower by -2.03% than the percentage of the European elections and lower by -1.36% than the percentage of the national elections.

The European Realistic Disobedience Front, or MeRA25 (Greek: ΜέΡΑ25), is a left-wing Greek political party founded in 2018. Its founder and General Secretary is former Syriza MP and Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis.

MeRA25 LATEST POLLS
MeRA25 is showing corrective trends in October 2025 as well. Despite the drop, it continues to appear in an electable position at 3.56% in the polls after rising above the European elections by +1.02% and above the national elections by +1.06%.
OCTOBER 2025
The New Left is a centre-left to left-wing democratic socialist political party in the Hellenic Parliament. It was founded on 4 December 2023 by eleven independent MPs who left the Syriza party. The president of the parliamentary group is Alexis Haritsis.

New Left LATEST POLLS
The New Left continues in October 2025 the pattern of ups and downs it has had since the beginning of the year. It remains very low and is measured close to the statistical error. In the polls after reduction, the New Left is at 1.83%, -0.62% lower than the percentages of the 2024 European elections.
